Music Theory for Producers: The Basics
Music Theory for Producers is a beginner-level class designed to help producers understand the musical building blocks behind chords, melodies, basslines, and song structure. This class focuses on practical, usable theory concepts that can be applied immediately in a DAW, rather than traditional notation-heavy instruction.
Students will learn how notes, scales, and chords work together, how to write better musical ideas, and how to use theory as a creative tool—not a limitation.
No prior music theory experience is required.
